Quinnipiac eSports is a competitive program that participates in the MAAC and NECC eSports Leagues. The team has won the MAAC Championships in Super Smash Bros. four years in a row (2022-2025), the Rocket League team won the MAAC Championship in 2024 and 2025, and the Valorant team won the MAAC Championship in 2023. And in 2025, Quinnipiac received the MAAC eSports Program of the Year.

All titles participate in the university’s eSports Lab, an 850-square-foot space in our Rocky Top Student Center that houses 24 gaming PCs and a console gaming space.

No! We provide all the equipment necessary to participate however students are welcome to bring their own if they are more comfortable with their own gear.

Players of all abilities and experience are welcome to try out for any of our teams. Also, en if you don’t make the team, the eSports lab offers open recreation hours to utilize all the gaming equipment Quinnipiac has to offer.

Yes! You can join us for intramural eSports or for open recreation hours in the lab and use our state-of-the-art gaming PCs and consoles to play your favorite games in a more casual setting.

Currently Quinnipiac does not offer scholarships for eSports athletes.
