Quinnipiac eSports is a competitive program that participates in the MAAC and NECC eSports Leagues. The team has won the MAAC Championships in Super Smash Bros. four years in a row (2022-2025), the Rocket League team won the MAAC Championship in 2024 and 2025, and the Valorant team won the MAAC Championship in 2023. And in 2025, Quinnipiac received the MAAC eSports Program of the Year.

All titles participate in the university’s eSports Lab, an 850-square-foot space in our Rocky Top Student Center that houses 24 gaming PCs and a console gaming space.

eSports Lab

The state-of-the-art, 830-square-foot eSports Lab in the Rocky Top Student Center features 24 gaming spaces laid out in four rows of six seats. The layout allows for five-person team gaming as well as a four-person gaming console, a monitor for club members, mobile whiteboards and lecterns positioned around the room and suspended and wall-mounted monitors.

Players of all abilities and experience are welcome to try out for any of our teams. Also, en if you don’t make the team, the eSports lab offers open recreation hours to utilize all the gaming equipment Quinnipiac has to offer.

Yes! You can join us for intramural eSports or for open recreation hours in the lab and use our state-of-the-art gaming PCs and consoles to play your favorite games in a more casual setting.

Currently Quinnipiac does not offer scholarships for eSports athletes.
