More than 400 graduating students from throughout Quinnipiac kicked off Commencement week with a class toast on Monday afternoon in the Pasquale “Pat” Abbate ’58 Alumni House and Gardens. President Marie Hardin read an original poem to the graduating students before raising her glass to each of them for their accomplishments. Cricket and Henry, area therapy dogs, also were on hand to help ease some of the pre-Commencement jitters.
A vibrant showcase of research, creativity and academic achievement filled The Science Innovation, Technology and Exploration (SITE) academic building on Tuesday, April 28, as hundreds of Quinnipiac students presented their work at Illuminate: The Quinnipiac Student Expo.
Driven by an entirely student-led team, TEDx QuinnipiacU centered five Bobcat speakers on the iconic red dot carpet to deliver “ideas worth spreading.” Sparked by the power of purpose-driven passion, each talk was delivered to the live audience filling Quinnipiac’s School of Business auditorium on April 30.
