Your health and safety are our top priority. Our Student Health Services office is staffed by a team of doctors, nurses and counselors to provide health care and counseling support. The Department of Public Safety includes trained law enforcement professionals, who provide 24-hour campus safety, while responding to emergencies and requests for assistance. The Learning Commons provides academic assistance to students, aiming not just for academic success in terms of grades and GPA but also for excellence beyond the classroom.

Student Government and Leadership

Quinnipiac's Student Government Association (SGA) mirrors the structure of the US Government, consisting of an Executive Board, General Board and Judicial Board. The Executive Board comprises five key positions, each receiving an on-campus office and a scholarship. The General Board, functioning as the organization's Senate, collaborates on initiatives and advocacy efforts to enhance the undergraduate student experience, while the Judicial and Ethics Board ensures compliance with governing documents and addresses inappropriate actions as needed. All of this is designed to improve the student experience led by students in collaboration with the university.

School of Nursing awarded $2.37 million HRSA grant to strengthen nursing workforce

The Quinnipiac School of Nursing has received a $2.37 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to launch the Lifting Education and Advancement for Rising Nurses (LEARN) Program, a five-year initiative designed to strengthen the nursing workforce by increasing opportunities for economically and educationally disadvantaged students and preparing more nurses to serve communities with the greatest health care needs.

Quinnipiac's 11-month program enables any graduate with a bachelor’s degree in the biological, medical or health sciences fields to earn a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Biomedical Science (BMS). The program prepares students looking to apply to medical or dental schools, including MCAT preparation.
