Dr. Linda Iadarola is an Associate Teaching Professor of Biology, primarily for Introductory Biology lecture and lab courses. She is also Coordinator for Bio105 and Bio106 Lectures and Labs and Co-Chair of the IDEAL and QSTEP student programs. Prior to her employment at Quinnipiac University, Dr. Iadarola was a Pharmaceutical Biotech Research Scientist at Cognetix, Inc., an Electron Microscopy Research Associate in the Department of Biology (Yale University), and a Clinical Laboratory Technician in the VAMC Department of Virology. Her professional interests include, the science of learning, interdisciplinary course design, technology use in the classroom, and student-centered learning. Dr. Iadarola has been awarded two grants and a faculty fellowship to improve the classroom learning environment, and create interdisciplinary courses and multidisciplinary case studies. She has been an invited speaker in regional conferences regarding problem-based learning and technology for student engagement, and her work on problem-based learning with case studies has been published with the National Cast Study Center at Buffalo and in the peer-reviewed journal, The American Biology Teacher.
