Dr. Guido Lang is an academic entrepreneur. He is Department Chair and Professor of Business Analytics & Information Systems at Quinnipiac University, where he also directs the university's MS in Applied AI & Business Analytics program. His research focuses on digital skills in business education. Specifically, he examines how emerging technologies, such as AI and analytics, redefine the digital skills needed in the workforce and how universities should respond to prepare graduates for these evolving demands. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and received multiple research awards. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Lang has founded several tech startups and regularly advises students and faculty on forming new ventures. He is currently Founder and CEO of Succedit, an AI-powered sales coaching platform, and Co-Founder and CTO of Medaflo, a medical inventory and vendor management platform. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, he earned a BS in Management from California State University, Long Beach, an MS in Information Systems from the University of Bern, and a PhD in Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of New York.
