Nicole Bracci joined the School of Health Sciences as assistant professor of biomedical sciences.

Prior to joining Quinnipiac, she was a post-doc research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, guest instructor in RNA virology and microbiology at Rutgers University - Camden, a graduate teaching assistant for biology GTA for the enlisted to medical degree preparatory program and taught genetic biology at George Mason University.

Her research interests are mechanisms of RNA virus replication at the initial site of infection, viral evasion of innate immunity and host modulation, alphaviruses, bunyaviruses, and flaviviruses.

She earned a Ph.D. in biomedical and veterinary sciences from Virginia Tech, bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology, with a minor in microbiology, and a bachelor's degree in forensic science from Pennsylvania State University.

Jennifer Featheringham joined the School of Health Sciences as clinical assistant professor of occupational therapy and associate academic fieldwork coordinator of occupational therapy.

She was an academic fieldwork coordinator and instructor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences – Dallas, and adjunct faculty at Quinnipiac occupational therapy program.

Featheringham is a licensed occupational therapist with clinical practice experience at Saint Mary’s Hospital Outpatient in Waterbury, Connecticut; Midstate Medical Center in Meriden, Connecticut, and Cheshire Fitness Zone Pediatric Therapy.

At Quinnipiac, she taught functional neuroscience I lab, occupation, participation, and health, neurorehabilitation lab, neurorehabilitation in occupational therapy practice fieldwork, and mentors capstone graduate projects.

She is active presenter at American Occupational Therapy Association conferences and working on some external research grant proposals now.

Featheringham is three-time alumnae with her doctor of occupational therapy, master's in occupational therapy, and bachelor's in occupational therapy all earned from Quinnipiac.
