My name is J.P. DiDonato and I’m an applied business and political science double major in the accelerated dual-degree bachelor’s/JD (3+3) law program from Long Island, NY. I’m proud to have the opportunity to serve you and our fellow Bobcats as President of the Student Government Association. SGA is an organization that represents our ambitious student community, which is driven by a collective desire to make a meaningful impact in all that we do.
You are about to embark on an incredible journey filled with opportunities for personal growth, academic achievement and lifelong friendships. Your time here will be filled with moments that will shape you, challenge you and inspire you. Whether it's in the classroom, in the lab, or out in the world making a difference, Quinnipiac will empower you to become the best version of yourself. But beyond the academics and achievements, what truly sets Quinnipiac apart, as you’ll come to know, is its people.
This school has been my home for the past two years and I am so excited that you have chosen to make it yours as well! You’ll soon discover that the resources and opportunities for engagement available to you are limitless. Whether you’re interested in sports, fraternity and sorority life, multicultural organizations, student media, student government, or something else, I promise that there’s an organization that’s meant for you! I encourage you to explore and take advantage of these opportunities, to network with classmates and to find your calling on our campus.
So, as you prepare to make Quinnipiac your home away from home, I encourage you to embrace every moment, cherish every connection and seize every opportunity that comes your way. Your time here is yours to shape!
It really is an exciting time to become a student at the university of the future! With the addition of new buildings, including the Recreation and Wellness Center, the Grove residence hall, the SITE and the new School of Business, our campus is growing and the amazing Quinnipiac spirit that I felt my first day on campus is growing along with it!
As your SGA President, I want you to know that I am here for you. Whatever you need, whatever ideas you have, whatever challenges you face, I am committed to being your advocate and your ally. Always feel free to come and visit me in the SGA suite on the second floor of the Carl Hansen Student Center.
Have a phenomenal summer! I look forward to welcoming you to campus in August and to watching what you will achieve during your time at Quinnipiac!
Go Bobcats!
