First-time takers achieved an impressive 88% pass rate, exceeding the state’s first-time pass rate of 56%. The university’s overall pass rate of 67% also far exceeded the state’s overall average of 47%.
“The first-time pass rate is the gold standard,” said School of Law Dean Jennifer Gerarda Brown.
In addition, Brown said she found inspiration by repeat test-takers — for demonstrating great resiliency and success during particularly difficult times.
“Our brave graduates, undaunted, came roaring back on the February exam and posted an 82% pass rate for second-time takers,” she said. “Their ability to bounce back sets a great example for all of us.”
