Quinnipiac’s 33-credit MS in Applied AI and Business Analytics degree can be finished in one to two years with incredible format flexibility -- fully online, fully on campus, or a custom mix of the two.
“The curriculum pairs core analytics methods with applied AI, Python, SQL, Tableau, data management, visualization and predictive modeling, then lets students deepen expertise through elective tracks such as Financial, Healthcare, Marketing or Supply-Chain Analytics,” said Guido Lang, PhD, Program Director, MS in Applied AI and Business Analytics.
Lang is also Department Chair and Professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems at the School of Business. He said Quinnipiac’s MS in Applied AI and Business Analytics program offers students a pathway to strong career growth.
“Employer demand remains strong, with nearly half of U.S. companies planning to hire analytics graduates and a six-figure median starting salary for new MS-level hires, while AACSB [Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business] accreditation, STEM designation and flexible delivery give the program an additional credibility and visa advantage for international students,” said Lang.
TechGuide’s latest rankings of the program are based on data from the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) via College Navigator, accessed in March 2025. Key factors such as tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, admission and graduation rates, and alumni success are evaluated.
Quinnipiac’s remarkable rise in rank this year reflects TechGuide’s tracking of measurable improvements which have been made to the program, said Lang. Program improvements began with a complete curriculum overhaul that added applied-AI content, immediately boosting relevance to employers and alumni salary outcomes.
The university also added full-time faculty in the program, reducing the student-faculty ratio and improved mentoring and retention, raising the graduation-rate metric. Tuition remained competitive, making the cost-to-value ratio more attractive. Ongoing AACSB accreditation and STEM designation further strengthened perceived quality of the program.
“When TechGuide recalculated factors such as curriculum, value, outcomes and student engagement, the program had credible gains across the board, propelling it into the top ten,” Lang said.
