The Sound of Science

When she’s not inspiring students in Quinnipiac’s physics classes or analyzing active galaxies with NASA/JPL scientists, Nicole Granucci is thundering basslines and fronting the rock cover band Mixtape Era. With inked arms, a star-bound intellect and a gift for making science sing, this professor bridges two worlds … and rocks them both.

Quinnipiac alumnus Russell Anderson served as a first assistant editor on Disney's Tron: Ares
Alumni Accomplishments

From Hamden to Hollywood

As a kid growing up in Ramsey, New Jersey, Russell Anderson ’04 loved tinkering with technology. After his dad bought him some old video equipment at a garage sale, Anderson became the neighborhood kid running around with a huge Betacam camera perched on his shoulder.
